We're delighted to present our lineup of competition classes, meticulously crafted to establish strong fundamentals and cultivate habits essential for a thriving competitive team. Our goal is to foster curiosity and enjoyment in our students while they train alongside their dogs. With a focus on bringing out the finest qualities in both our students and their canine companions, we aim to support enduring and flourishing careers in the competitive arena.

  • Tim's passion for dogs ignited over 19 years ago in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, and since then, he has devoted himself to mastering the most effective training methods. With 17 years of specialized experience in Competitive Obedience training, Tim's journey has been enriched by attending numerous seminars conducted by renowned trainers worldwide. His dedication has earned him multiple accolades from The American Kennel Club.

    A seasoned competitor, Tim has been invited to prestigious national obedience events including Westminster, the National Obedience Challenge, and the Eukanuba Obedience Classic. His expertise has guided dogs to achieve two Obedience Trial Championships, as well as Conformation Championships, while also exploring other canine sports such as Agility and Tracking

  • For nearly two decades, Jacquie has dedicated herself to breeding, showcasing, and titling her Australian Shepherds across various disciplines, from agility to obedience, herding, and beyond.

    Currently, Jacquie and her dog Lulu are diligently pursuing Lulu's Obedience Trial Championship, marking yet another chapter of achievement in the obedience ring. Their journey has been marked by swift progress through classes and notable successes, including multiple High in Trial (HIT) and High Combined (HC) awards in Rally competitions. Their prowess extends to the ASCA Rally Nationals, where they clinched victory two years consecutively.

    Throughout her endeavors, Jacquie prioritizes fostering deep engagement and joy in her relationships with her dogs.

  • This class is for those who are interested in competition obedience. Skills covered in this class will include heeling, adv retrieving, adv scent discrimination, directed jumping and open jumping & directed retrieve.

    Prerequistes: You must have gone through Foundations I or have the instructors consent to attend

  • This class is for those who are interested in competition obedience. Skills covered in this class will include heeling, basic retrieving, basic scent discrimination, calling to front, finshing at your side and much more.

    Prerequistes: Basic commands required: Sit, down, able to settle/stay calm with handler, ability to recall. No dog/human reactive dogs. Preferred but not required titles to have CGC or BN

  • This is a good class for those wanting to focus on only Beginner Novice & Novice level skills or for those looking to sharpen up their heeling.

    Skills covered in this class will include a focus on core skills needed for successful heeling. Heeling is more than just walking with your dog lots of engagement, impulse control, and a fostering a strong relationship of “want to” go into good heeling. Skills also covered in this class will be basic stays, impulse control exercises, recalls/fronts, and finishes.

    Prerequistes: Basic commands required: Sit, down, able to settle/stay calm with handler, ability to recall. No dog/human reactive dogs. Preferred but not required titles to have CGC or BN

  • This class is for those actively working in Open and/or Utility level obedience.

    It will be partially run-through format with ring environment situations and constructive problem solving provided. Meaning we will not be teaching beginning steps of exercises. We will offer help and advice when needed or play the role of Ring Judge to help provide ring pressures. This class is for those struggling on overall performance or need help fine tuning.

    Prerequistes: Must either have a CD title on current dog and/or have gone through the foundations II classes. This class will not be suitable if you don’t have the basic skills for these levels.
